Aviverm™ is a broad-spectrum round worming treatment for fowls (chickens), turkeys, ducks, cage birds, and pigeons. This effective anthelmintic targets both immature and adult stages of the three most common and harmful intestinal worms: Ascaridia (roundworm), Capillaria (hairworm), and Heterakis (cecal worm), helping to keep your birds healthy and free from internal parasites.
Directions
Directions
In water method:
- Estimate the number of birds served by each tank and work out their average weight
- Using these figures, estimate their total live weight
- Now estimate how much Aviverm™ is required at a dose of 1ml per 9kg live weight
- Add this quantity of Aviverm™ to the drinking water - ensure sufficient water is available for 8 hours normal consumption.
Oral direct dose:
Dose 0.1ml of aviverm per 1kg of live weight. (If your bird is 2.5kg, you will need .25ml of aviverm) Add this into a 1ml syringe and top up with water to dilute the Aviverm. Syringe this down the throat using the method in the linked video.
Or
Pull up the dose and add it to a piece of bread or mince and roll into a ball. Pop this in their mouth using the piling technique in the video.

Works good when you can get them to drink it, in water method is hard to work out, but there is a direct dose method that works better.
My beloved chicken died soon after taking this medication. She was fine before, the day after her comb was shriveled and white. She passed in pain around 5 days after. There are no warnings, precautions, or testing instructions on the label beyond for humans. I did my research and measured everything to accuracy. I contacted the manufacturer and was met with no resolution.
We are truly sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved hen. Losing a cherished pet is always heartbreaking, and we completely understand how distressing this experience must have been for you.

We deeply sympathize with your loss, but we kindly ask you to reconsider your review. Poultry in this country already have limited worming options, and worming is essential to maintaining flock health. As professionals in the field, we’ve witnessed the significant harm that can occur when birds are not wormed appropriately. Your feedback is invaluable, and we hope it can help us continue promoting the best care practices for poultry.
Love this product, I use it for all my pet and rescue birds. Perfect broad spectrum dewormer. The fact that it's also effective against gape worm is a win !
