Ivomec® (ivermectin) 1% Sterile Solution is a broad-spectrum antiparasitic product commonly used in livestock parasite control programmes. It contains ivermectin, an antiparasitic agent used for the control of a range of internal and external parasites.
This sterile injectable solution is formulated for reliable absorption and precise dosing when used according to label directions and veterinary guidance.

Dosage & Administration:
Administer subcutaneously only. Do not administer intravenously or intramuscularly.
- Cattle: 1 mL per 50 kg liveweight
- Sheep: 0.5 mL per 25 kg liveweight
- Pigs: 1 mL per 33 kg liveweight
It is an offence to cause residues exceeding the Maximum Residue Levels (MRLs) set in the Food Notice: Maximum Residue Levels for Agricultural Compounds.
Withholding Periods:
- Cattle (meat & offal): 28 days
- Sheep (meat & offal): 35 days
- Pigs (meat & offal): 28 days
- Milk: Must be discarded during treatment and for 35 days after the last treatment.
If injected intramuscularly, withdrawal periods change significantly:
- Meat & offal: 91 days after the last treatment.
Precautions:
- Do not administer intravenously or intramuscularly.
- Adequate clostridial vaccination is recommended in high-risk areas.
- Store in the original carton to protect from light.
- For animal treatment only.

Indications & Efficacy
Cattle
At the recommended dose (1mL/50kg liveweight), ivermectin provides effective treatment and control of:
- Gastrointestinal roundworms (including inhibited Ostertagia ostertagi)
- Lungworms
- Sucking lice
- Mites
Persistent Activity:
- Ostertagia spp.: Controlled for at least 14 days post-treatment.
- Cooperia spp.: Controlled for at least 7 days post-treatment.
- Dictyocaulus viviparus & Oesophagostomum radiatum: Controlled for at least 21 days post-treatment.

Sheep
At 0.5mL/25kg liveweight, ivermectin effectively treats and controls:
- Gastrointestinal roundworms
- Lungworm
