Passwell Hand Rearing Food is a nutrient-rich hand feeding formula designed for parrots, pigeons, doves, finches, and other baby birds requiring assisted feeding during early development. Suitable from hatching through to weaning, this balanced formula is designed to support healthy chick growth, feather development, muscle development, and overall wellbeing.

Ingredients

Processed cereals (rice, wheat, oats), soy & whey protein isolates, glucose, vegetable oils, omega-3 & omega-6 fatty acids, lysine, methionine, carotenoids, taurine, vitamins A,B1,B2,B3,B5,B6,B9,B12,C,D3,K, biotin, choline, calcium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, magnesium, zinc, iron, manganese, copper, iodine, selenium. 5g/kg Protexin®Soluble probiotic (180 million CFU/g), 1g/kg Natuzyme® multi-enzyme, 1g/kg Actigen® dried yeast prebiotic.

Directions

  • Prepare Hand Rearing Food by mixing powder with pre-boiled, warm water (approx. 50˚C) according to the chart on the box.
  • Allow mixture to stand for one minute to absorb all the water.
  • Remix, and feed at a temperature of 38-40˚C with a spoon, syringe or crop tube.
  • Prepare food fresh each meal and thoroughly clean utensils between feeds.
  • Feed until the crop is comfortably full. As a general rule, this equates to about 10% of body weight per feed.
  • Let the crop empty completely at least once a day by allowing an overnight fasting period.
