Wombaroo Lorikeet & Honeyeater Food 300g

Wombaroo Lorikeet and Honeyeater Food is a complete nectar-style diet specially formulated for lorikeets, honeyeaters, and other nectar-feeding bird species.

This easy-to-mix powdered formula creates a balanced liquid nectar diet designed to closely mimic the nutritional profile of natural nectar sources. Formulated with carefully balanced nutrients, vitamins, minerals, and low iron levels, it provides supportive everyday nutrition for captive nectar-feeding birds.

The smooth liquid consistency is highly palatable and suitable for use as a staple nectar diet within companion bird, aviary, rehabilitation, and wildlife care settings.

Available in a 300g box.

Helpful Resources

Nectar-feeding birds have specialised nutritional requirements that differ significantly from seed-eating parrots and poultry species. Proper diet preparation, hygiene, and regular food replacement all play important roles in supporting long-term health and digestive stability in lorikeets and honeyeaters.

Ingredients

Sucrose, glucose, maltodextrin, whey protein, casein, lysine, methionine,  vegetable oils, omega-3 & 6 fatty acids, taurine, carotenoids, vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9, B12, C, D3, E, K, biotin, choline, calcium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, magnesium, zinc, iron, manganese, copper, iodine, selenium, 1g/kg Actigen® dried yeast prebiotic.

Directions

To make 100 mL: Mix 3 scoops (30 g) of powder with 80 mL of warm water.

Mixing method:

  • Add half of the water to the powder first and mix until fully dispersed. Gradually add the remaining water and mix thoroughly until smooth.
