The Avian Empire Charitable Trust (CC63205) is a New Zealand-registered charity founded by Sam Hurley and Jemma McLean.
Our mission is to protect and restore birdlife through both conservation and care - connecting environmental health with avian wellbeing.
The Not for Profit Avian Hospital - a not-for-profit, avian-only hospital dedicated to treating pet, wild, and rehabilitating birds. The hospital will provide expert veterinary care to the public while housing a specialised rehabilitation wing for all species of birds - from native wildlife to companion chickens. It will also operate as a teaching hospital, training and mentoring the next generation of avian veterinarians and rehabilitation professionals.
Every donation made here goes 100% directly to the selected initiative under the Avian Empire Charitable Trust, supporting conservation, rehabilitation, and the creation of a healthier future for birds across Aotearoa
