Parrot Chew Refill
The Parrot Chew Refill from The Enrichment Shop makes it easy to refresh your bird’s favourite chew skewer. Filled with crunchy, pre-drilled dried banana plant material, it gives small parrots an engaging outlet for their natural chewing behaviour.
Simply unscrew the retaining nut on your Parrot Chew Skewer, thread on the fresh chew material and secure the nut before returning it to your bird. Each bag provides approximately three skewer refills, depending on how much material you use.
Supplied in a resealable bag to keep the remaining material dry between refills. Keep your bird’s enrichment varied by rotating toys and offering opportunities to chew, forage and explore.

Thread the pieces onto your Parrot Chew Skewer, or offer them loose under supervision. Monitor your bird to ensure they are chewing rather than swallowing the material.
Replace chew material after one month on the skewer, or sooner if it becomes wet, dirty or mouldy.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Inspect regularly for damage and loose parts.
Swallowing large quantities of chew material may cause impaction. The skewer includes a small retaining nut that could be swallowed by larger birds or animals, so use only with appropriately sized birds.
