Parrot Chew Skewer
The Parrot Chew Skewer from The Enrichment Shop gives small parrots an engaging outlet for their natural chewing behaviour. Made from food-grade stainless steel, the reusable skewer comes threaded with crunchy dried banana plant material for your bird to chew and investigate. Hang it within easy reach of a perch so your parrot can explore it comfortably.
Once the chew material has been used, simply unscrew the retaining nut and replenish it with Parrot Chew Refill, or add your own bird-safe treats and chew materials. Try suitable pieces of fresh fruit or vegetables to turn it into a feeding activity. Remove any uneaten fresh food promptly.
Keep your bird’s enrichment varied by rotating toys and offering opportunities to chew, forage and explore. Purchase Parrot Chew Refill for convenient replenishment, or create your own combinations of bird-safe treats and enrichment materials.
Directions
Directions
Hang from the top or side of your bird’s cage, within easy reach of a perch. Ensure the retaining nut is secure before use.
Supervise your bird to check they are chewing rather than swallowing the material. Replenish as needed and replace any chew material that has been on the skewer for more than one month, or sooner if wet, dirty or mouldy.

Storage & Safety
Storage & Safety
